Many Floridians Get Their Olympic Trial Cuts at Sectionals on Day 2

Caeleb Dressel Wins two on Friday Night at Southern Zone Sectionals

July 10, Orlando, FL-— The first two days of the Southern Zone Sectionals at the I-Drive Y in Orlando were indeed a treat for many Florida athletes.  The theme is “get your Trial Cuts now” and then get back to training for the main event next summer, June 26 – July 23 in Omaha, NE.

Back on opening night at the Speedo Sectionals, the Finke family thought they would go ahead and rule distance events at the meet, and they did on night one! Summer and Autumn Finke went 1-2 in the 1500 with a 16:36.23 and a 16:39.04, while their brother Robert scored the win in the 800 with a 8:12.55.
